Information on UV protection
Our mainfabrics are tested according to the European standard EN 13758-1. This standard is used to determine the UV protection factor (UPF) of single-layer fabrics. Exclusively through the manufacturing process, and in the case of PURE PURE not through achemical finish in the fabric, the fabric has the ability to keep UV rays away from the skin. Only skin covered / shaded by the article is protected.

The sun protection factor (UPF) indicates how long the skin’s own protection is extended. As amultiplier, it indicates,how many times longer one can stay in the sun without damaging the skin.Formula: UPF x self-protection (approx.10-15 minutes depending on skin type) = time spent in the sunExample: light colour UPF 20 x 15 min = 300 min =approx.5 hours sun protection.
